Target of this book is to investigate deeply and closely for least cost generation and maintenance scheduled for an interconnected 220KV grid using software "GAMS" which is more appropriate, suitable and easy for applications. The book also sinks deeply in matrix communications between each of responsible members who shared either in generation process or maintenance activities and how perfect schedules and full cooperation between each party could lead to reduce time needed to overcome troubles in grid and to decrease cost of generation many interviews with each parties lead to clarify and identify many of misunderstanding points which can be arisen between them and best method to overcome all drawbacks. It also describes and review how to automatize substations and how this automation will lead to save cost reduction in both operation and maintenance of substations due to fast development of computer technology and Internet.
