Khushal Thakur est titulaire d'un B.Tech et d'un M.Tech de HPU et JUIT respectivement. Il travaille actuellement comme professeur adjoint et poursuit un doctorat à l'université de Chandigarh. Il travaille sur les communications 5G et MIMO massives. Il a publié plusieurs articles de recherche et possède 4 brevets. Il s'intéresse également aux réseaux sans fil et aux réseaux de capteurs.
