Kanjalochan Jena was born in Puri, India, in 1988. He received the B.Tech. degree in electronics and communication engineering from BPUT, in 2010, and the M.Tech.degree in microelectronics and VLSI design from National Institute of Technology, Silchar, Assam, in 2013.His research interests include Tunnel field effect transistors (TFET).
