The theory and results of optimization of electronic microwave devices with azimuthally symmetric waveguides and taking into account ohmic losses in the waveguide walls are presented. The main applied to the treatment of effective kostructions of electronic microwave devices, optimization methods are considered. The results of optimization of designs of gyrotrons, gyro-TWT, gyro-BWO, tunable gyrotrons, peniotrons, frequency multipliers, gyro-klystrons and gyrotons are given. A description is given of the possibilities used to calculate microwave devices, the "Gyro-K", "Opti-K" and "Gyro-KL" programs.
