Vegetables hold a crucial position in human nutrition, providing essential nutrients for a balanced diet. Okra, a member of the Malvaceae family, is a popular and versatile vegetable commonly used in Indian cuisine. Its year-round growth makes it a valuable addition to Indian kitchens. Optimizing okra growth involves a comprehensive study where the effects of liquid organic substances, it's spray frequency and various levels of chemical fertilizer on the crop's development are explored in detail. This research aims to determine the most effective and sustainable method for enhancing okra yield, quality and overall performance by carefully evaluating the application of liquid organic substances i.e. panchagavya and jeevamruta and chemical fertilizers. The study involves various factors such as the types of liquid organic substances and chemical fertilizers, application methods, their impact on soil health, crop growth, yield, quality and economics along with environmental sustainability. By examining these factors in depth, the research seeks to provide valuable insights and recommendations for achieving optimal okra cultivation.
