Born on July 7, 1964 the author completed schooling and later acquired the degrees of B. Sc. (Ag) and M.Sc. Ag. (Agricultural Economics) from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar and Ph. D. in Economics from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. Presently he is working as Principal Scientist (Agril Econ).
