Autorenporträt
Amit Gupta, M.D. earned his medical degree from University of Delhi, India. He completed a residency in orthopedics from the Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Orthopedic Hospital in Oswestry and Royal Liverpool hospitals in England. He then completed hand and microsurgery fellowships with the Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Micro Surgery in Louisville and with the Pulvertaft Hand Centre, Derby, England, and University of Bern, Switzerland. In addition to offering a full range of arm and hand services, Dr. Gupta has special interests in wrist and elbow surgery, post-trauma reconstruction of the hand and pediatric hand surgery. Dr. Gupta's mission is to provide top-quality, patient-centered care in the areas of hand surgery and complex elbow reconstruction. He is involved in research focused on developing cutting-edge technologies, including improved wrist implants and rehabilitation equipment for patients.
He is a well-known author of The Growing Hand: Diagnosis and Management of the Upper Extremity in Children, Elsevier, Mosby and his recognition includes:
