Lars Bo Vanting (Basel, Switzerland) has been working since 1989 with development and implementation of standard systems based on relational databases and 4th generation development tools (Informix 4GL, Oracle Forms/Developer, and Oracle Designer) on UNIX and Windows platforms. He has been working with all the aspects of system development, i.e., analysis, design, programming, implementation, documentation, and user training. Today his main focus areas are database design, installation/configuration, networking, administration, tuning and server-side PL/SQL programming, on UNIX and NT systems. He also has gained much experience with the Oracle Enterprise Manager (EM) product as a tool for database monitoring and administration. Presently he works for IconMedialab Switzerland where he is CTO.
