Orange County was a manuscript produced in several days under the influence of mind-altering substances. After I wrote it, I left it untouched for two years, picking it back up during my first month of college. Editing it minimally, I thought it was kind of exciting to see the product of what was my ideas at the time. I also thought it was sort of fascinating to see the layers of how my true-life experience matched that of the book.
