He never wanted to make his friends a target. But when Leno finds an ancient artifact, he must unlock its powers to save them from the undying king. Ancient, decrepit and undying, the former king lingers in his underground chamber beneath the Iron Tower of Harrow. Having once rolled dice for all humankind and won, his unyielding power is still felt within the realm and beyond. What Harrow wants, Harrow takes. Trapped in a cave system with only the light of a mysterious bog artifact to guide him, Leno struggles to find his way back home. But the catacombs play host to an underground world that he never knew existed - an echo of the forgotten past and a pathway to discovery. The fate of his friends, the disturbing truth about the disappearance of his parents, and the growing force that threatens his homeland all lead Leno in the same direction ... to the City of Harrow and the ruling madman that sits at the helm. With his own life and those of his friends at stake, Leno must tap into an inner strength and harness the power of the SPARX stone before it is too late. Order of the Undying is the second book of the three-part coming-of-age fantasy, SPARX Incarnation, a story of friendship, adventure and loss of innocence.Hinweis: Dieser Artikel kann nur an eine deutsche Lieferadresse ausgeliefert werden.
K.B. Sprague is a Canadian epic fantasy writer and physicist. Born in small-town Northern Ontario, he developed a true appreciation of the natural world during his youngest years. K.B. Sprague went on to attend universities in Southern Ontario, earning a doctorate in theoretical physics. Summer work terms still kept him grounded in the North though, spent working in a uranium mine and mineral prospecting camps. After graduating, he took on physics and computing research projects in the natural resources, defense, and security sectors. Topics varied widely, with excursions into nuclear and particle physics, medical imaging, directed energy, geomodelling, complex systems, war games, and emerging technologies. K.B. Sprague lives on a hobby farm on the outskirts of Ottawa, Ontario with his wife and three children.
