Today, ecological conditions of wetlands are threatened worldwide with primary threat being induced on the vegetation cover due to shifting land use practices. Major factor responsible for such variations worldwide is anthropogenic activities. Such activities have caused disturbances ranging from development of infrastructure to resources exploitation resulting in modification and depletion of resources. Therefore, spatio-temporal assessment of species diversity effected by anthropogenic activities is crucial. Furthermore, multivariate analysis is paramount significant technique for ecologist to assess the species diversity, abundance and their relationship in particular area.
