Autorenporträt
Philip Hamlyn Williams is the son of Major-General Sir Leslie Williams, who commanded the RAOC during the Second World War. His interest in Ordnance was piqued when he discovered a treasure trove of albums in his family home; these would become the basis for War on Wheels. Ordnance came about as a result of a further quest to understand the experience of Ordnance Services in the Great War. He has an MA in Professional Writing and has spent much of his career working with the professional services and not-for-profit sectors.
