The name "Orff" opens up a variability of associations and approaches. When art and pedagogy meet, numerous aspects also fan out. What dynamics go hand in hand with this encounter? How can the challenges associated with this be specified with regard to sounding out and negotiating weightings, focussing and interests, and how can they be concretised using Carl Orff as an example? These questions are addressed here in reflections from art studies and art education from different perspectives. New findings on Orff research will be revealed and further topics on the theory and practice of artistic-pedagogical action will be discussed.
