Produktbeschreibung
The organic fertilizers described in this work are very important inputs that strengthen the practice of ecological agriculture, agroecology and peasant agriculture, a situation that gives these agricultural production systems the character of sustainability compared to conventional agriculture where synthetic fertilizers that damage the soil and the environment are applied. The use of organic fertilizers is especially recommended in soils with low organic matter content and degraded by the effect of erosion, but its application can improve the quality of crop production in any type of soil, regardless of the material of its composition. Organic fertilizers have different qualities and benefits, among which: Organic fertilizers favor soil aeration and oxygenation, so there is greater root activity and greater activity of aerobic microorganisms. Manure is an excellent source of organic matter, but is relatively low in nutrients. The value of manure depends on the type of animal, the quality of the diet, the type and amount of cover used, and the manner in which the manure is stored and applied. Poultry and sheep manure usually has more nutritive value than manure from horses, pigs or cows.
