In the context of European integration and the rapid development of the world economy, including international trade and the development of the service sector, the establishment and operation of supranational legal entities is becoming increasingly important. The European Union has provided three new organisational and legal forms of supranational legal entities in addition to the existing ones at the national level, allowing them to operate throughout the territory of the EU member states and subject to the same regulatory rules. This paper examines the legal status of existing supranational legal entities, identifies the peculiarities of the legal regulation of their creation and operation, as well as analyses the advantages and disadvantages that are typical for these organizational and legal forms of legal entities under EU law.
