Produktbeschreibung
This work aims to analyse the Tourist Event Espraiado de Portas Abertas, which is located in the Municipality of Maricá - RJ, seeking to identify the various forms of participation of the local population, their culture, their know-how, how they participate in the different stages of the project. We will describe the general functioning and main characteristics of the activities carried out and their sustainable practices, comparing the way it was developed from the beginning to the present day. For this reason, this work sought to carry out a contextualisation between rural tourism and community-based tourism, as it is a tourist event developed in rural areas. To this end, the methodology applied was based on secondary data that were collected, bibliographic research and documentary research. Finally, it was concluded that the implementation of community-based tourism causes the valorisation of the cultural identity of the populations, but they must be treated as an object to betransformed and not at risk of being eliminated.
