This book: "The Organizational behaviour: Effects of organizational environments on its structure and performance" covers an analysis of theories and models underpinning organizational behaviours and structures. The book further presents the link between organizational structure and the context within which it functions. Written by a field oriented public health specialist with wide experience in both development and emergency programming, this book explains the influence of context and environment on organization structure. It present analytical model which can be applied to understand how the structure of an organization is closely related to the environment within which it functions and that much variation in organization structure might be explained by external environmental and contextual factors. This book is a product of a case study in a fragile country in developing country where the analytical model was used to understand complex social events regarding the functioning of the water, sanitation and hygiene consortium by observing, interviewing and making meanings out of practical occurrences unfolding in the organization as a result of the interaction between structures.
