The problem of change is of great actuality in this period where the world economy is at a crossroads. Social together with political and economic problems are raising several questions regarding the future of mankind.At global scale, the society is under the sign of to be or not to be, to do or not to do , and the answers remain long-awaited.In such a setting, where notes of tragism meet those of hope, the question that arises is what will happen with the learning system, with superior education? Can it adapt to so many questions and dilemmas? Could it bring the most awaited answers, or, on the contrary, does it need changing too?In order to find answers to these questions you must have a clear and lucid, objective and strict radiography of what is currently happening in universities. How do academics see this need for change and to what extent are they ready to accept and achieve it? How does organizational culture act and what are, in fact, the elements that can strengthen or thwart change?
