Today there are multiple strategies to improve educational institutions in the country. For example, if a school wants to improve its learning and be a modern organization, it is necessary: cooperation, goals, participation of the members of the educational organization and coherence around an IEP. This means that the members of that organization act under certain common behaviors, that is, they have an organizational culture.In this book, the author analyzes the organizational culture and performance of municipal schools in the new region of Ñuble. Within these, a distinction will be made between the municipal schools between the top 25% and the bottom 25% of SIMCE results in the last 5 years in Ñuble. Two establishments are analyzed, one in Chillán and the other in San Nicolás. In both establishments, the traits of the organizational culture and its capacity for improvement are analyzed.
