The monograph reviews the theoretical and methodological foundations of leadership research. The analysis of different approaches to the phenomenon of leadership allows to reveal its essence, typology, functions, as well as features of its impact on the organization. Special attention is paid to leadership as a social technology. Considering leadership as a social technology, its role in the management system for the formation and development of organizational culture, the main directions of the impact of leadership on the formation of organizational culture is highlighted. The mechanism of leadership as a social technology is presented.
