Autorenporträt
Mari Ono is an expert in origami and all forms of papercrafts. Born in Japan, she has lived in the UK for many years with her artist husband, Takumasa, where they both work to promote Japanese arts and crafts. Her other books include the best-selling Japanese Origami, Origami Flowers and Birds, Mindful Origami, Origami Animals in the Wild, Origami Pets, Mindful Japanese Origami, Essential Origami, Origami for Children, More Origami for Children and Origami for Mindfulness, all available from CICO Books. Hiroaki Takai is an origami master based in Japan. Born in Tokyo in 1957, as a child he fell in love with the models found in Kunihiko Kasahara's Origami Zoo and was inspired by them to create his own brilliant collection of dinosaurs and animals. He is the author of many origami books in his native Japan.
