Dr. John H. Bickford III, a former Mid-Prairie (IA) Middle School social studies teacher, is currently an Assistant Professor of Middle Level Education at Eastern Illinois University. He has teaching and research interests in elementary and middle level students¿ historical thinking/literacy and authentic social studies instruction/assessment.
