Mary Fran Love was born in Syracuse, New York and practices law in Washington, D.C. Mary Fran always wanted to write children's books and her ideas finally came alive when she met Amanda Negley at the New York State Fair. Mary Fran hopes that this story brings joy to readers and that it is only the first of many Orlando the Zoo Squirrel books in the future.
