Extraoral orthopedic appliance has proved to be a dependable method of class II and class III correction for over 100 years and this treatment adjunct is used with varying frequency worldwide. The major "Achilles heel" this method is has with other methods that involve participation of the patient in the treatment process, is patient co-operation. When the extra oral orthopedic appliance is prescribed for patient who is compliant then efficient treatment result are obtain . In the non co-operative patient however alternative method of class II and class III correction are indicated.
