Author, Dr. David Florence is a 90 year old physician who has great admiration for all living creatures from little babies to little bugs. He believes that we are all part of a very complex and magnificent system in which we are all dependent on one another and therefore must help and protect each other. He feels that helping every one and every living creature will make life more enjoyable for all of us. Illustrator, Jesse Maloney - I drew my first dinosaur when I was 3 years old and just never stopped after that; sometimes to the dismay of my elementary school teachers. I love to watch the micro world; how bugs behave, how moss looks up-close, the formation of lines in agates. This world is often overlooked and yet holds a most magnificent beauty.
