During the 1830s, Osceola, a Seminole warrior, led members of his tribe in Florida in a valiant attempt to resist the US Army's efforts to forcibly deport them to a reservation west of the Mississippi River, following the directive of President Andrew Jackson. The result was three wars fought between the U.S. Army and the Seminole Indians, with Osceola as their leader. The Seminoles were part of the infamous Indian Removal known as The Trail Of Tears. Readers will see history come alive with this account - "Osceola And the Seminole Sorrow".
