A rant against the utilitarian use of language; a questioning of the linguistic formation of events. A discourse unraveling commerce and colonialism. A worship of words. A coat unravelling, and in that unravelling made up of words but also the fabric of the coat whose history contains the things/words that make up love, sympathy, colonialism as palpable stumbling forward of nation and identity. Words as medium. Color, blood-list as well as emptiness. A study of language and meaning from the words in the form of a novel.
