Sarah Wills Carlsson has spent her career bridging countries and cultures as a result of her roles in automotive engineering development. Stemming from an early passion for travel, language, and cultural differences, she has studied several languages, lived in four countries, worked with more than ten countries on a regular basis, and has traveled to more than thirty countries. She loves to work with diverse teams to help bridge their differences, align their goals, and achieve amazing results. From her leadership experience in complex systems engineering, she brings together psychological tools and models to everyday engineering global workplaces to allow them to see the difference that global cooperation brings. She decided to start writing these books as a result of encountering too many people who choose not to work effectively with colleagues around the world and hopes to influence the next generation to truly "see the difference" that global diversity brings.Educated in the United States (Northwestern - Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Stanford - Masters in Engineering Management), she has spent most of her adult life living in Europe (Sweden and Germany). As she likes to say, "the world is my office and home".
