Restoration of bone tissue integrity and functionality through directed reparative regeneration is an urgent problem solved by the creation of artificial osteoplastic bioresorbable materials. The book presents the results of studies on the synthesis and properties of calcium-phosphate biocomposites. It is shown that in order to produce injectable forms the biocement should have a rather long setting time and the cement mortar should have a high plasticity and water-holding capacity. The effect of various technological factors (processing temperature of initial components, presence of inorganic and organic additives) on the properties of such cements has been considered. The effect of the composition on the biological behavior of the developed materials in in vivo experiments has been studied. The monograph is of interest for specialists working in the field of biomaterials - chemists, medics and biologists
