Additional goal of this study is to compare the cost-effectiveness modeling analyses of strategies to prevent osteoporotic and osteopenic fractures. This study also researches clinical risk factors, such as: mineral density, BMI, nutrition, hormones, postmenopause, alcohol, smoking, etc. and how they relate to the quality of life. In conclusion, this study examines how the hereditary factors influence the incidence of osteoporosis and subsequent bone fractures.

Rubina Alimanovic-Alagic was awarded her M.D. in 1995. She earned her Ph.D. in 2010. She has been working over 17 years in the field of medical practice. During that time period she gained a valuable experiences in internal medicine, nuclear medicine, thyroid and bone diseases. She publicated 20 scientific professional papers.
