Other Than That, I'm Fine: Essays on Life and Other Inconveniences is a collection of humorous essays, poems and true personal stories from writer and comedic storyteller Judy Millar. Judy looks at LIFE-hers (as a chicken-plucker and a klutzy kisser), yours (if you're forever in search of your phone or stuck on hold) and theirs (if you've ever wondered how Shakespeare's wife really felt or what Henry VIII would have posted on eHarmony)-all through the lens of laughter. Dive in anywhere! These funny stories, essays, limericks and light verses are grouped into five sections: HUMAN LIFE (we're all wonderfully weird, with our flaws, failings, quirks and pet peeves); MODERN LIFE (Frappuccinos, Fitbits, and phone-line #%!# frustrations); HISTORICAL LIFE (online "dating profiles" for famous historical figures and "beefs" their wives may have had with them; MARRIED LIFE (the mating, dating and relating game); END OF LIFE (aging and dying, including epitaphs and funny obituaries you can steal to leave 'em laughing). Wherever you land, you'll find we're all a bit of a mess. Other than that, we're fine!
