Jose Luis Guerrero is a priest at the Basilica of Guadalupe and an official of the tribunal of the Archdiocese of Mexico and at the Congregation for the Causes of Saints in Rome. He was granted a license in theology, civil law, and canon law by the Pontifical Gregorian University and the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome. He has written numerous books about Mexican culture and the Guadalupe event.

Fr. José Luis Guerrero was Canon of the Basilica of Guadalupe and played a keyrole in the processes of beatification and canonization of San Juan Diego. He graduated with a degree in Theology from the Pontifical Gregorian University, and obtained the degrees of Civil and Canon Law from the Pontifical Lateran University in Rome. He has written numerous works on the origins of Mexican culture and especially on the Virgin of Guadeloupe. P. José Luis Guerrero fue canon de la Basílica de Guadalupe y jugó un papel clavePapel en los procesos de beatificación y canonización de San Juan Diego. Se licenció en Teología por la Pontificia Universidad Gregoriana y obtuvo los títulos de Derecho Civil y Canónico de la Pontificia Universidad Lateranense de Roma. Ha escrito numerosas obras sobre los orígenes de la cultura mexicana y especialmente sobre la Virgen de Guadalupe.
