Born and raised in Mexico City (1958-1987). He studied Economics, followed by a Master of Business Administration in a program between Notre Dame University and the London Graduate School of Business. Professionally, he started as a professor and researcher in economics and finance in the Mexican banking system. He immigrated to Canada in 1987 where assisted the Ministry of Economic Development in creating a database for businesses in the service industry for the Province of British Columbia. With government and banking programs, he worked with foreign business and local investors in running a pro-active and successful business; from the start-up stage to their break-even point (under the 'turn-key-operation' concept). Carreras has extensive experience in Mexico, United States and Canada. He has travelled considerably for business and research throughout Europe and Asia as well. His research is based on a compelling, detailed and deep logical thinking framework with results oriented attitude. As an Author: His passion for writing is fueled by the desire to open people's eyes to what is really happening around them, while improving their life style and bring harmony to their lives.
