Autorenporträt
Mia was born in Melbourne on Wednesday 28th November 2007. Since six months of age, her mother would read her books every day. Mia especially loved Kiss Kiss by Margaret Wild and Say hello to the baby animals by Ian Whybrow. The same books needed to be read to her every night if her parents wanted her to sleep. Since then, her love for books has grown much stronger, reading books such as Matilda by Roald Dahl, The Babysitters Club series, all books by David Walliams, Weir Do by Anh Do, and The Shakespeare Stories by Andrew Matthews and Tony Ross. At this time in her life, Mia enjoys reading books that are imaginative, have humour, and an interesting storyline. Mia is often found with her head down reading all types of books no matter where she is. In her room or in the backyard. Mia's love for literature has grown since she has gotten older and loves to write. Mia has decided that she would like to study Literature at University and become an author. She does understand that it is a hard profession to get into and even harder to become a well-known author but she is willing to experience and learn whilst she is doing what she loves - reading and writing. It is with this passion, that she wrote her first manuscript. Her tutor and family thought it was a great story and encouraged her to take the first step towards her dream.
