After becoming a widow Marilyn Botterill became a working mum with three young children. Although she believed in God she had always questioned the wonder of life and it's unfairness; why some people starve and others have plenty, and if there really is a God why is there so much suffering?She continued to read and research as much as possible and took a full time Theology and Philosophy degree course followed by further research into physics, chemistry and cosmology.
