The purpose of the research was to determine the outcomes of the reintegration process on behaviour change among juvenile ex-offenders released from rehabilitation centers in Kenya. The research objectives were to: determine factors which contribute to successful reintegration, examine follow-up of the juvenile ex-offenders after reintegration, to investigate the opinion of the juvenile ex-offenders towards the reintegration process, explore whether family members accept the ex-offender, to establish ways in which community leaders support the reintegrated ex-offenders and explore the challenges faced by the reintegrated juvenile ex-offenders. The target population was drawn from the ex-offenders reintegrated back to the society from the rehabilitation centers for juveniles with behavior disorder. Rehabilitation center managers, one family member and one community leaders per ex-offender who knew the ex-offenders well were also targeted. ata was collected through interviews and was coded and transcribed into themes to help answer research questions.
