In order to avoid a civil war, Norman Scottish Nobles and imminent clergy appeal for England's King Edward, Longshanks, to send his army into Scotland as "Peacekeepers of the Scotch Realm..." It's not long before various incidents with English soldiers see William Wallace branded an outlaw. He is forced to flee Scotland with his friend Stephen ua Mac'Halpine to the safety of Ireland, where he soon joins with the Irish chiefs of Connaught who are waging a brutal war of attrition with Norman English lords. The impending coronation of King Alexanders' granddaughter, princess Maighread Canmòr the maid of Norway, sees all Scots in exile pardoned. Seoras began his film life as a stuntman in the 1986 film "Highlander." Going forward, he has made a successful career in the film industry that includes national and international recognition for his contribution to the genre in Scotland. Having worked closely with such industry icons as Sean Connery, Mel Gibson, Russell Crowe, Stephen Spielberg, Ridley Scott, Angus McFadyen and many other successful Writer/Directors. This experience of over thirty years, growing from a stuntman to much sought after fight scene/stunts director and Historical advisor has also gained Seoras a reputation as a credible and successful member of any period production team and securing many Feature Film and Television productions to be shot in Scotland.The first novel written by Seoras, 'Sergeant Mackenzie' has been a great success. The narrative is the backstory to a tune co/written and produced by Seoras Wallace and Joe Kilna, featured as the central soundtrack in Mel Gibson's Oscar-winning Film, "Once We Were Soldiers." The narrative is based on actual characters and real events, 'Sergeant MacKenzie' tells the story of a group of soldiers who, in order to save many others, paid the ultimate price during the War to end all wars...
