Nona Ransom holds a PhD from George Washington University and a BA and MA from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She is an elementary school teacher, who has taught young children in grades 1-3 in the Washington, DC Public Schools System for several years. She has published the childrens book, BEWARE! THERES A BULLY IN ROOM 203! and has written the sequel to it. She has also written and published several poems. Raised in Georgia, Nona Ransom lives in Washington, DC.
