Jis Pettayil is a Catholic priest belonging to the Congregation of the Claretians. He, after his Post Graduation in Philosophy, taught at Claretian College of Philosophy for 12 years, and served as the Dean of the College from 2011-2014. The author, who is a specialist on Emmanuel Levinas, is presently pursuing his Doctoral Research in France.
