Today foreign languages, mainly English language is gaining more and more importance than ever. Demands of development of good English language communication skills are being increasing. This demands to look through the language learning process in all over the world. Conditions, where English language communicative competences should be developed, are various. For Georgian students there have increased the possibilities of travelling abroad, exists various student foreign exchange programs; there is possibility of speaking with the foreign tourists in all time of the year. All these above mentioned are not enough to satisfy the world demand. The fact stays as a fact that the adults entering the higher educational institutions have the appropriate language level, but they cannot speak fluent English. This might be caused by the various factors. The first factor is they are not in the real English environment (in the natural realia), the second- they might possess inappropriate (language knowledge) level and the third- there exists the psychological barrier, which creates a huge cave between the language knowledge and its realization.

Tamar Aslanishvili has obtained her PhD degree in education in 2011. She is an experienced teacher of English and interpreter. She is the head of Foreign Language and Professional Training Center of Telavi State University, Georgia. She is the author of several papers. She is the member of ETAG and is actively involved in various activities.
