People spend nearly one third of their adult lives at work, and workplace issues are a common source of stress for many. The workplace is typically an environment in which people with different personalities, communication styles, and worldviews interact. These differences are one potential source of workplace issues and can ultimately lead to stress and tension for those involved. Isolating the most common workplace issues depends at least to a certain extent on the type of business and overall office environment, but in general problems concerning the workforce can be summarized in one word: communication. Since the material which is going to be introduced over the next pages is intended for business professionals - either developing, or established ones - we aim to present how communication can be used to solve main problems encountered in the workplace and how can challenges be transformed into opportunities with creativity and innovation-specific approaches.
