Paal Kaasen (November 14, 1883 July 11, 1963) was a Norwegian sailor who competed in the 1920 Summer Olympics.He was a crew member of the Norwegian boat Jo, which won the gold medal in the 6 metre class (1919 rating).A sailor, mariner, or seaman is a person who navigates water-borne vessels or assists in their operation, maintenance, or service. The term can apply to professional mariners, military personnel, and recreational sailors as well as a plethora of other uses.
