Artie Woodington was born in Texas. She left Texas with her family and lived in various states. She completed her undergraduate studies at Idaho State University and did graduate studies at Dominguez Hill University in California. She taught elementary school for a number of years. She has taught schools in Idaho, California, and Texas. She is a mother of four children and a grandmother of ten. Saying Sorry Won't Stop the Pain is her first novel.
