My life in art began when I was eight years old. So, I have been intently interested in the inspiration, execution and visual pleasures, which have been my joy, for a lifetime. I majored in art in high school and was fortunate to have a teacher who mentored and encouraged me to pursue it with great passion. I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Woodbury University. My master's degree from the famous Beaux-Arts Académie in Paris, and my doctorate from the Sorbonne University. I did further post-graduate work at the Bella Institute in Rome, Heidelberg University in Germany and Edinburgh University in Scotland. I was fortunate to have studied and worked with such greats as Oskar Kokoschka, Andre Lhote, Fernand Leger, and Pierre-Jerome. I have had meetings and conversations with artists such as Francis Bacon, Juan Miro, and many accomplished artists from many countries. I became a very successful art dealer, and that led to a thorough understanding of the exhibiting and commercial aspects of the art world. In that seventy years of an all-consuming career as artist and art dealer, I gained a perspective that I feel can benefit anyone with the passion for painting, or to just absorb and appreciate this enjoyable creative process. I share that with you in this book. - Christian Title Other books by Christian Title: Climbed the Hill (the artist's autobiography) and Christian's World (three hundred drawings from the artist)
