My description of my book is (no more than 150 words): This poetry collection was written over the course of sixteen months - from January 2020 to April of 2021- and is intended as a companion to my previous collection: Providence in the Fall of a Sparrow. In poem sixty of Providence - the final poem of that collection - I called on the listener to "paint thunder." It was a metaphor I couldn't shake off and I've used it as the seminal metaphor in the creation of this collection. Autorenporträt
Robert B. Woerheide wrote poety, fiction and nonfiction, received a Master's of Arts in Teaching degree(English content area); and was the founding editor of Perigee. His writing has appeared in Triplopia, Miranda Literary Magazine, The San Diego Troubadour, Coe Review, and Cadillac Cicatrix. Woerheide's collection of short stories, Traveling Sitting Still, won the iUniverse Editor's Choice award in 2007. His Providence in the Fall of a Sparrow collection of poems was published in 2020. Robert died on May 29, 2024.
