Autorenporträt
Jürgen Schaflechner is Assistant Professor at the Department of Modern South Asian Languages and Literatures at the South Asia Institute, University of Heidelberg, Germany. Christina Oesterheld studied Hindi, Urdu, and Sanskrit in Berlin. She did a doctorate with a thesis on three novels by the Urdu writer, Qurratulain Hyder. From 1990 until 2018, she taught Urdu at the South Asia Institute, University of Heidelberg, Germany. Ayesha Asif studied South Asian studies at the University of Heidelberg with a major in political science and history. She is an independent scholar who has worked on various projects on the socio-political aspects of Pakistan.
