Alexis Taylor is a multi-media artist, performer, teacher, and purveyor that the arts allow for healing, understanding, and change. Alexis Taylor is a multi-media artist, performer, teacher, and purveyor that the arts allow for healing, understanding, and change. A lover of everything artistic since childhood, Taylor received her BFA in Musical Theatre in 2014 after falling in love with Theatre in middle school. Inspired by the sample color card swatches in the home improvement paint department, Taylor began to write poems based on the cards color and name. She likens her collection of colorful poems to that of a painter's palette! Alexis is thrilled to have published her first work of poetry and looks forward to continuing to color the world with her voice.

Alexis Taylor is a rising Author from Eat My Lyrics Publishing Company. Growing up, she was always fascinated with Wattpad stories and urban books; this interest exposed her to writing. She was intrigued with stories true to life because they ignited her curiosity and fed her creative mind. She was motivated to test out her newfound inspiration. In The Streetz, Alexis introduces her readers to her prolific world and real personas. Alexis was born April 15th, 1998, and resides in Flint, MI, where she will continue her passion and catapult new writers into their full potential.
