Their palliative care needs are not addressed by the existing health care services due to limited access. Therefore promoting standard palliative care services for patients and their families is important to alleviate their distress and improve their quality of life. This book focuses on exploring the palliative care needs of AIDS patients from the perspectives of the AIDS patients and health care providers. The book came up with workable recommendations which could be used as an input in designing and implementing appropriate palliative care services in existing heath care system.
Autorenporträt
In 2007 she got her first degree in Nursing from Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. She earned her Masters Degree in Social Work from the same university in 2009. She has work experience in different Governmental and Non-Governmental Organizations. Her passion is to work with people affected and infected by HIV/AIDS.
