Palm vein is one of the best biometric technique. The goal is to produce a software prototype that is capable of identifying a person by the vein structures of the hand. The near infrared techniques work on the principle that de-oxygenated blood within the human body absorbs near infrared radiations and the tissue surrounding the veins reflect it.
