The book presents the development philosophy or science of the development of the International Association, Pan African Institute for Development (PAID). The International Association, PAID was created in 1964, with Dr. Fernand Vincent as one of the Founding Fathers and pioneer Secretary General (1965 - 1985). PAID is of Swiss origin and has its headquarters in Geneva and Yaoundé, and regional institutes in Cameroon, Zambia, Burkina Faso, and Morocco. There is also PAID Foundation in Geneva. PanAfricanism: Science of Development revolves around PAID's belief that development should be concerted, decent, and sustainable. This book explains these conceptual specificities of PAID and how they are relevant in Africa and elsewhere, especially in less-developed regions.
